Cut Sheets
- Cut sheets are available with features such as consecutive numbering, perforating, and hole punching. The accelerated use of sheet-fed, non-impact laser printers in many business environments has resulted in a great demand for cut sheets. Customers typically like the convenience of processing forms that don't need bursting or decollating. Most cut sheets are shrink-wrapped to ensure the product maintains a high level of consitency and quality.
Padding:
For convenience, cut sheets are often padded. Padding is a relatively simple process that can be done in most plants at a minimal cost. Padding involves counting the sheets into the desired quantity per pad (usually 100) and adding a peice of chipboard for backing. Paded forms have the following advantages:
They are easier to ship and store
They simplify withdrawals from stock, because users don't have to count individual forms
They simpliy inventory control and reduce errors because they are counted collectively as pad s rather than as individual loose forms
Their chipboard backers provide their own writing surface
They enable users to more easily recognize when stock is low
